The Department of Languages was established from the inception of the college in 1999. Since then, it has been catering to teaching language and promoting interest and creativity in students. The department is striving for enrichment of the language and providing in depth aesthetic knowledge and an eagerness to appreciate the language in its ingenuity to the student. The department offers students the opportunity to enhance their intellectual curiosity, analytical and interpretative thinking, and expand their horizon as well through broad and intensive reading. The department aims to develop and integrate the use of the four language skills -listening , speaking, reading and writing . It plays a pivotal role within the Institutional framework.
